Pendennis Castle 16: Crest, in Falmouth, Cornwall, England more
An armorial or heraldic crest above the castle entrance, probably of Henry VIII who had Pendennis Castle built. Strictly speaking it’s a fort, since a castle is someone’s home, and this was more a defensive outpost to guard against the Spanish and French, who were upset because England had left the Papist Hegemony.
