Gate in the Stone Wall 1details

This portcullis-style gate (although it hinges sideways, like a regular gate) is set in a stone archway in the ancient fortified city wall of Pisa, on the edge of the Field of Miracles, and leads into the Jewish Cemetary. On the top is a carved lion, just visile here.
