Kleidograph (1894)
The new York Institution for the Blind, New York, USA

“New York Point System.”

The Kleidograph utilized the “New York Point System”, a system of eight ots – not the 6-dot Braille system. One hand could operate all of the keys, leaving the other free to read the embossed dots.
