Our surroundings at work become familiar, and we think nothing of them. My father (The Reverend Eric Quin) used to take sandwiches and a Thermos™ flask of tea with him when he went to the church; the tombstone made a comfortable seat. I think he may have been Rural Dean at the time but I’m not sure.

It’s all very goth, with the black-robed priest sitting on the gravestone, I suppose.

Approx. 1966 I expect.
