The 15th century inscription is visible in this shot, which also gives an idea of the depth of carving.

rectangular sarcophagus (mid 3rd century a.d.). on the front clipeus with bust of the deceased held by winged genii, on the sides two couples of eros and psyche, at the extremeties winged genii, on the flanks inscription of the 15th century attesting the sarcophagus had been reused for ricco corasso and others.
